NOTE: Please also update to version 3.02 on the Axe-Fx III as there was also a fix there for pedal calibration.

The video is great. But don’t forget that the firmware includes step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow.

Does this update need to be done to use newer firmware? Running short on time and need to pack up for practice hoping won’t have any issues.

I think it requires the FW to use the new FC FW, which has some bug fixes.

So far all versions of the FC firmware will work with all versions of the Axe-Fx III firmware. FC 1.04 fixed a pedal calibration bug that only occurred with some pedals.
