FAS Inspired Amp Purchase

Congratulations @atyourlasthourrr ! Did you nab that cool combo one on the 'Verb?
I did exactly the same thing- years ago, I was in love the model, and so I grabbed a real Tucana 3 when it came up- you're going to love it!
Carol Anns are really, really special amps.
Do yourself a favor, and set up a 4CM patch with the real amp, and then make up another patch where you use the Axe as a preamp into the Tucana power amp- the power section of the Tucana is really about clean amplification, so you absolutely inhales other preamps as well.
It's a great way to come up with just about any sound that you want.
I'm not sure what speaker comes with it, but the new Sugarcone reissues are perfect with the Tucana- the best speaker I've tried with mine.

Thatnks @Adman103 ! And yes, I did pick up that combo off the verb actually! Had some back and fourth with the shop owner and ended up getting a solid deal on it. Thanks for the suggestions. For some reason, I never even considered 4CM with this, I typically run Fryette Powerstations with my FAS devices, but I'll give the 4CM a shot. This one comes with a 90w Celestion Alnico Cream.

I use my Axe3 with my Tucana as a virtual pedalboard, and it’s absolutely the best mono rig I’ve ever played. Keep your eyes out for the Carol Ann midi box too- they’re hard to come across, but if you can land one, you can set up channel switching on the amp through the axe as well. Having the crazy array of drive, compression and eq options available before the amp, and then time based stuff in the loop is just perfect with the Tucana. It’s already a really flexible amp, but this puts it over the top. The Tucana is a beast of an amp- those KT88’s don’t mess around! It’s cool that it went to another fractal person!
