It's just a simple chorus. Nothing special at all.Does anyone know how to emulate the EVH chorus? It is a difficult chorus to emulate as it kinda sounds like detune, but not quite.
Which EVH chorus are you referring to?
The “modern” EVH used a lot of detuning (Eventide), which is easily achieved with the Axe-Fx.
That's the detune, not the chorus. He added the chorus pedal for certain songs when he ditched the Eventide.Dual detune. Left up about 6 cents, right side down by the same amount. 100% wet. Adjust the number of cents to taste. I believe he used an Eventide H3000 from what I've read.

Come again? The MXR EVH is just a simple analog chorus. It uses a sine wave, and has a phase reverse on the right output. It can't get anymore textbook than that.LOL!! Ummm...no.

As Yek said, please describe why.Nope....try again.
Which is a pure guess from the reviewer.Maybe some of the comments in this thread are inspired by this review of the MXR, where the pedal is linked to the Roland DC-30, and Pretty Woman?

Maybe elaborate, in order to have a constructive discussion?
