Epic 80's Song that needs recognition

I really feel like Saga should have been a bigger band. They had a lot of great stuff, but got way too little airplay in the US.
The reality of radio is that what you heard was curated by corporations (still is, but to a lesser degree thanks to the internet). Yes, there were some little indie/small acts out there, but they didn't stand much of a chance. Even then, record companies would make decisions to really back one artist and leave another floundering and eventually cut ties. Just imagine if YouTube existed back then!

Here's April Wine from 1984's album 'Animal Grace'. I think at this point in their careers radio was trying to ignore them. They never really abandoned their rock roots to fully embrace the New Wave. This album should've been bigger.
