i know DZ has fretless guitars in his stable, but i dont remember him ever whipping one out live, bet it would be bitchen with the violin patch...
A challenge is that the part switches between violin and guitar during one song (e.g. Willie).

you are correct and i had forgotten! He used a half-fretless guitar when I saw him last year - fretted on the lower three strings and fretless on the upper three.
There's no sustainor in that guitar. (I should know... the video was filmed in my office, as you can tell by the NJ map and "HEAVY METAL" calendar
here's one that's pretty good, can't remember who did it, but I'm pretty sure it is not a commercial preset I shouldn't share, so enjoy.
See post 14what cab did you use?
He posted another video today:
According to the comments he’s not using a Sustainiac, just the regular P90s.

Neo, I think your patch sounds better.... The only thing that I see from the video is that Dweezils patch has more attack, has more immediate response from beginning and in between notes. More easier to play, especially faster notes.
If you notice in my video where I use this patch on Fade to Black, it seems to be lagging. The faster you play the more it lags. Any clue on how to fix that?
