Do you keep guitars you don't really use, if they're nice/rare/expensive?

Thought I might have been the odd one but I'm not alone! I bought a brand new ES-335TD in 1967 and still have it. Played the snot out of it for about 8 years. Don't play it much these days as its too nice and too valuable to take out of the house but I'll never part with it. I hate parting with my nice guitars so they mostly accumulate.
