This feature, if I understand well, is useful for solving phase issues when you use two different cabs.Yes of course, the distance control is made for that, but yesterday I tried to tweak that parameter and I noticed something different. Maybe is only placebo like says @666was999
For sure the test is very cheap to do

I set to 3-5% usuallyDo you have the AIR parameter at anything other than zero?
You are absolutely right!! I am idiotWell then, if I am not mistaken, you are mixing the dry sound with the IR and you will hear a change if you change the initial delay. Case solved?
Try the same experiment with AIR at zero.
It thins it out as that first hump moves to the right. Bass waves are larger and move slower.in any case, do you note a difference? Or it is only in my mind?
Thank you. Purchased.Let me help you:

I'm happy, my mind is still working...Oh Marco, it seems you are right. It really wasn't a placebo. You set it up in way it matters even without a 2nd cab. Wow!
I did a sample. Maybe I am crazy but I hear a difference
...or I spend too much time in studio... and I need a pause...
the keywords are "try it"OK, I do hear a difference in Marco's vid, but...is that a looped clip? It sounds to me like differences in pick attack, maybe.
Really hard to say from your example if there's a difference. Might be easier to hear if you put a static loop and then change the distance.
For this kind of comparison it's been really helpful to put the Looper in the first block, post-Input.OK, I do hear a difference in Marco's vid, but...is that a looped clip? It sounds to me like differences in pick attack, maybe.
The key words are "I will. When I'm able to."the keywords are "try it"
