Dialing in a solar guitar

So recently got my axe 3. Just sticking to presets at the moment generally whilst I get used to it, (will probably do the carter masterclass at some point).
So I've found plenty of high gain sounds that work with my PRS with fluence classics.
But I can't seem to find or dial in something bhigj gain that works with my solar, has medium output Seymour Duncans and everything sounds low gain, even with gain pump up.
How do I dial in presets/sounds for the different pickups?

Got also a Solar and no problem with gain.
But may you check Input trim parameter.
