Delay effect's "Spread" parameter?

Hi all,

I was dialing in some tones on my Standard today, and while I was tweaking the delay I became confused about the "Spread" parameter.

Why does it go from -100% to 100%? It would seem that 0% is mono, and 100% is full separation stereo. What is -100%? Does it flip the L & R channel feedback settings?

thanks,

Peerhan

AFAIK,

-100% is full Left, 0% = Center and 100% is full Right.

Per manual:

SPREAD - Controls the stereo spread of the echoes. Increasing this value increases the separation between the left and right delay signals.

Nothing to do with feedback specifically, just where each delay output is panned. At -100% the "left" delay is completely in the right channel and vice versa.
