I use mine with a couple of milk crates and I think it works very well. Does anyone now of any stands that will keep the CLR's at this sort of hip level (50cm/2 feet off the ground)? It seems that most PA speaker stands only goes to sort of ear level.
Old topic...but you don't see much about it here.I use mine with a couple of milk crates and I think it works very well. Try stacking them with the top one angled 90 degrees relative to the bottom one.I tried two on top of each other. Didn't work for me as the wide dispersion leads to interference (comb filtering) and destroys the otherwise perfect sound. IMO they have to be spaced/angled accordingly.
1) Minimal coverage overlap, so minimal comb filtering;Hmmm. the dispersion is 90x90, no? So what would be the point?
Sounds like those are cool, would love to see a pic or two of them!I have mine on two custom stands built for me by Frankenstands. I am in a chair so they moded the stands for me so the CLR would be at head height. They sound glorious at ear level.
Here was my post about the stands: https://forum.fractalaudio.com/thre...ion-to-my-cave-clr-content.76670/#post-935494
