thanks! its a step in the right direction -- some tweaking for authentic sound but im convinced its possible! (it was buried in the "tone/ducking" tab where in the tape delay it was right on the front page. confused me =P)

I was surprised how high I had to turn the drive up to try and match my ad999. They get pretty gritty.

2290 is a digital delay.

there is a drive parameter wah, chorus, flanger, and delay to emulate this. It is only there if you want it.

so it was another type i was just saying that some blocks depend on their input level, but your fully right: if you dont want it you can just shut it down
just wanted to say not all blocks work like fully gain independent
