Here in the Reno NV area it’s a relatively balmy 40 degrees F. Like summer compared to what the Midwest is getting.

Yup. Mine is running nonstop and barely able to get to 40%.

Same here. I have a whole house humidifier, and a stand alone one in my studio. Barely keeping it at 40%.

22° F in Austin now. Wind chill is 11°. Low tonight is 16° and wind chill of -7°. That's pretty cold for Central Texas, but luckily it's dry so no real worries about ice. I prefer the 100° summers. Uncomfortable, but at least I won't die if I get stuck outside. I don't know how people up north do it.

Well I will take the SoCal weather anyday! I don't miss Central Washington winters! As someone that works outside a lot the 22*f days and 5*f nights sucked!
