How would the desk manufacturer know if the Axe can handle an iMac on top of it?Isnt this more of a question for the manufacturer of your desk?
I guess I read the question differently. How would the desk manufacturer know if the Axe can handle an iMac on top of it?
The case is fairly sturdy, and I am guilty of having placed things on top of the case before, but I would recommend a stand or shelf of some kind in-between the Axe and iMac.Just thinking of upgrading my FM3 to an FX III
Is the unit strong enough to sit on my desk with an 27” iMac on it?
Thanks,
You can find super cheap rack case. They will prevent from scratches and keep the Axe-Fx safer. Look this one: https://www.thomann.de/it/millenium_steel_box_3.htmJust thinking of upgrading my FM3 to an FX III

As a matter of fact, juju happened. If you look careful at the picture above, you can see strange characters at the preset nameeither rack it or get yourself a desktop stand. I wouldn't place anything on top. Bad juju.
