Axe-Fx III not completing start up when plugged into FC-12

After I updated to 1.06 the Axe-Fx does not complete it's start-up cycle.

It stops at "Initializing GUI": right before the Graphic progress bar screen...

When I disconnect the FC-12 it completes the start-up and I can reconnect the FC-12 and everything is good.

Anyone know why this might be happening?

for now you can "hot plug" the FC12. boot the Axe as normal with the FC unplugged, and when it's up, plug in the XLR to the FC.

this has been confirmed to be normal use, and not cause damage.

The update to the FC-12 changed the timing just right to cause an issue with the communications. This will be fixed in the next Axe-Fx III firmware update. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Was this issue resolved in 5.08? The reason I'm asking is that I'm seeing a strange boot up behaviour where my FC12 doesn't initialize completely, it states the FW version 1.06 instead of the patch/scene name and switches 11 and 12 don't initialize and show "---" but still seem to have the function assigned. I have tried multiple XLR cables and the boot up sequence is the same in 5.08. Note, I do have an FC-6 chained off the FC12 but the FC6 seems fine.
