Archon model sounds gooooood. Seems like a pretty dark amp though (even the "bright" model), found myself cranking the mids and treble and turning up the tone knob on the ts808.

Yes it’s dark. Which can be compensated through the IR if desired.
I’d never use a T808 before the amp because the amp is so saturated and thick already.

Where are you seeing that? That was the name in the beta version.

Yes, the Archon is very dark, compressed and doesn't offer the low end of a 5150 for example.

I ususally use a Maxon OD808, or Walrus Voyager in front of the Archon with gain at 4, but turning the gain up (6-7) has the same effect.
But I love my Archon more for its clean sounds ... so happy that it is now in the Axe Fx.
