After spending some more time with the VC, I've found that the 4.20 setting works for down tuning -2. Going up to +2 requires a setting of @5.15 to get similar results. Again, the Notes and Chords work much better but if you want to fine tune, setting the Pitch Tracking to Off and using the Track Adjust to dial it in yields better results in my limited experience.
 
I wonder if the pitch block improvements will fix something of a bug I noticed while playing the new factory presets on 29.00. One of the funnest presets for me is playing with Drones of Arrakis by @fremen . I don’t know if anyone noticed but there is significant warble or beating in the preset when you switch to the Am scene. It’s especially noticeable when the modifier in the filter block reaches the top of its sweep. Interestingly, the pitch block kicks in on this scene and the Synth blocks keep the same frequencies as the root Em scene, but the pitch block shifts everything up a 4th. I came on here to post about it in the factory presets thread ( I may still do that). That’s when I came across this thread and read about the pitch block improvements and decreased warble. I don’t do the Beetas anymore, but here’s to hoping one of my favorites is back to its good old self again! Anyone else notice it in 29.00? Any improvement in this Beeta?

When I saw there was another update I almost sighed because I haven’t even had the chance to really check out the last….3? 4? But when I saw it was an update to the Pitch block, well, the gif above is from my Ring cam I keep in the living room.
 
I have a gig tonight, with 6 songs using the VC..... now the question is, do I risk updating to the beta? Hmmm...
 
Thank you for your continued support and improvements, FAS! I use the Virtual Capo on almost a daily basis, so anything that improves its performance is very welcome. Question: On the VC, would you recommend using the new Tracking Adjust default value of 3.30? It was 5.00 previously. Thanks!

Since I joined FAS few months ago the only area I wished for an improvement was the VC and here it's. Thanks Cliff!
Can't wait to try it out.

I wonder what would you recommend setting the VC to when playing a both notes and chords? And what are the actual trade-offs when setting the Tracking Adjustment and the Pitch Tracking?
