So did I. I have the Origin effects deluxe 61 pedal, a brownface AIAB with the bias trem part included in the amp part. Best tremolo I ever had or heard. After that I couldn’t go back to other tremolo pedals because I missed the ducking and it was way more playable. I am so happy Fractal included the ducking now, its easier to dial in than the workaround with the envelope modifier.

💯 My playing has improved more since purchasing the AFX3mk2 ,around a year and a half ago, than it has from age 14-43. I'm 45 since December 2nd. This unit has been the first major gear upgrade in my life. My wife walks past the bedroom and cracks open the door sometimes and says "wow I thought that sound/tone was off a record" Not to mention with updates the "amp in the room" vibe has been getting better and better too imho.👍😎🌶️🌶️
 
Back in the day when the Axe II first came out and were in short supply. Many were trying to use bots(auto F5 key) to snag an axe and pay for it. I missed by an inch so many times I gave up and called Fractal and asked if I could go there in person to buy one. They said sure!

Road trip ensued. I drove from Philly area(go Iggles ;-) to NH. Left at 3am got there by 8, met Cliff, bought the Axe, gave him a bottle of red as a gift, and toddled back home by 5pm.

There should be a Hall Of Fame for businesses.

Just need an AI agent to ping the forum 100,000,000x per sec. Then upon seeing a new FW release, it immediately:
  1. Texts you with the news
  2. Downloads and unpack it
If the unit is on, it:
  1. Goes to an empty preset
  2. Starts a full backup
  3. After backup is complete, it installs the new FW.
If the unit is off (or there is no USB-computer connection), you're SOL and so very late to the game. 😬

The only thing it wouldn't be able to do yet is power cycle the unit...

This response will be a buzzkill on your lighthearted post, so I apologize. BUUTTTTT.... You don't really need "AI" (although that term is a wide one and often abused), but if you could program a script/bot to do all that, power cycling the unit would be easy if you had the Axe FX going into a smart outlet or had an AC relay triggered by the PC the script is running on.

You solved it! A smart outlet or relay triggered by computer. Duh. 😌

You're right, it wouldn't need an "AI" agent/bot. Programs were AI before AI was almost true AI! (Whatever "AI" means...).
