Axe-Fx III Firmware 27.01 Release

...Back to the firmware I have downloaded the edit update but haven’t gotten around to the axe itself yet hopefully when Inget back to South Dakota this weekend. Shouldn’t be a problem updating anxe edit first should it?

You're good to go. I usually update Axe-Edit before the firmware, but you can do it in either order.

Just tried installing the new firmware again and still having the same issue, the cabs don't work anymore, and the dyna cab and legacy cab selection is blank and doesn't work. I'm using an axe fx 3 mk1 , going back to firmware 27 till this gets worked out.

+1 - hard to sort out if you revert back. Ax3 mk1 here also - no issues. (did you refresh AE definitions after update?).

Please run Refresh After New Firmware from the editor.

In AxeEdit - Settings / Refresh / Block Definitions - this needs to be done after every firmware update - if not done, could very likely be your issue.

In Axe-Edit, Settings > Refresh After New Firmware.

It's quick, and it won't change your presets, if that's why you're waiting.

All it does is sync up the editor to the current definitions of everything. No effect on anything but the names of things in the editor.
