A little late, but I'm finally trying out the Morning Glory running into the 2203 High, with DC Power Supply, into two misaligned factory TV legacy cabs. Holy crap. This is so beefy, dynamic, rude, and badass. From the demo video I saw of the Morning Glory I didn't inuit for it to be so ideal for an 800, but it so incredible. Man, with all the recent upgrades, I feel like I have a new modeler altogether. It was already the most powerful thing ever, but now it just keeps pushing the boundaries of what you can so easily, and it keeps surprising me all the different shades of awesome I can achieve now. Deep Thanks.

Yes. I just tested it and all appears working. Thanks FA :)

If I were being hyper-picky, I still think the nomenclature could be more intuitive to clear-up any confusion when no external clock is present. Currently it states "Word Clock ------ SPDIF/AES (NO CLOCK)", which despite the '(NO CLOCK)' warning, implies that the AF3 is still clocking to SPDIF/AES even though it is not.

IMHO it might be better if it said "Word Clock ------- INTERNAL (NO CLOCK @ SPDIF/AES IN)" for where 'SPDIF/AES' has been selected but no external clock is present or has been lost.

So the setting selection options would be as follows:

"Word Clock ------- INTERNAL" for where 'Internal' clock is desired.

"Word Clock ------- SPDIF/AES IN" for where 'SPDIF/AES' is desired and a suitable external clock is present. If one isn't present, then this option would not appear and instead the option below -->

"Word Clock ------- INTERNAL (NO CLOCK @ SPDIF/AES IN)" for where 'SPDIF/AES' is desired but no external clock is present (or to be displayed after the fact when external clock has been lost).

Thoughts?
I would just call it "Auto"

Can you post the preset? Very curious!

Welcome to the 2203 fan club ;) one of the best models in a long long time in my book!

This would be confusing to me since it seems to be combining "options" with "status". The current config makes sense imo as there are only 2 scenarios (use internal or use from spdif/aes input). Even "auto" would be counter-intuitive for me since that suggests it'll pick the appropriete one which I don't see how it could do if both are viable. Seems to me, if external is selected, the user just needs to be sure external is set up correctly (maybe I'm missing something here...).

Okay, the Lone Star is a different amp now, in the best kind of way. The introcution of the Channel MV is a revalation. Dude, if it makes that big of a difference in the Lone Star, it makes me wonder if it wonder if Channel MV would make that big of a difference in other models whose real life equivalents have it! This automatically made the Lone Star Lead the most versatile thing for my guitar, with nothing in front of amp. Awesome! It made this amp just come completely alive in a different way.

Finally got around to the new 5153 stealth models and hoooollllly crap!!! I know there's often love bombing on Fractal here but srsly this is warranted. There's definitely some magic mojo going on now and I know how cliche that sounds. The Blue Stealth 5153 I think is my new favourite for high gain. There's a really pleasant character to the low end that retains clarity somehow. I think that's been mentioned already.

are the mark v, all lower gain or is it just me?
were there any gain changes across the Mesa stuff. I know the pots were changed.
@2112 for your take. the mark iv lead sounds different (less gain)

To my ears the MK V has more gain than MK IV and IIC++ that I use more regularly. Maybe that’s the difference you are hearing?

Btw, pots were only changed for the Recto iirc.

from just the clips of Leon playing them back to back , once dialled in they were pretty close but I think the Mark V with the single gain control might be easier for some to dial in , to my ears the Mark V sounder slightly smoother , maybe a bit more open less congested , I liked it

Yeah I think I agree. Mark V seems to have a touch more mids than the other amps imo (or maybe it’s the other way ‘round and I’m misremembering right now). But the IIC++ is the least compressed of all Mark amps to me.

ya it could be it I am going by LT live vid today , but it sounded a bit bigger , Leon even said compared to V he first though his Chunk preset using the old models was darker and a bit duller , but then he did dial them in very close , once he upped the pres and turned on the Fat
