So if I reset all amp blocks (multi-select), doesn’t it fuck up all the presets?

If using the preset manager, no.

This will reset ALL channels of the AMP block in the selected preset(s), while maintaining the settings on the Authentic page of the AMP block, and automatically saves the preset(s) too.

However, be aware that this method will reset the following AMP block settings:

• graphic EQ
• speaker impedance curve
• Input Select
• Bypass mode.

So that narrows it down to most Mesa Mark Series presets. They will probably get somewhat messed up, if they used the GEQ.

Ah, yes. Only the authentic page is preserved.
So it fucks up SOME (not all) presets.

Did I miss any details regarding a significant reduction in output for the Stealth Blue, in 23.05? Luckily (so I could directly compare), I copied my preset before performing the soft reset, and the same Level setting was between 3-5dB lower in 23.05. I read the were corrections made, besides the presence pot, and it sounds great, but wanted to make sure this was expected behavior. I’ve since bumped the Level up, as it had that Fletcher-Munson feel to the difference.

No. The power tube modeling is really good IMO. I don't think there's another product that even comes close.

Ya I use the Bogner red as well , this new Stealth almost sounds like it has a bit of that character but tighter and more gain if you want it , the older 5150s I thought were more Soldano voiced but 5153 Stealth to me ( maybe I am crazy) but has a more low mid Bog thing, which is great

Preamp Bias (for the new triode algorithm)

Don’t be afraid to adjust/turn these up people!

“This adjusts the bias point of the last triode stage. This is the most important stage in the feel and texture of distortion, as it controls the ratio of even/odd harmonics. Values around zero will produce mostly odd harmonics. As you deviate from zero you’ll produce less odd and more even. Odd harmonics give clarity and a more aggressive, open tone but this can be cold and harsh. Adding even harmonics gives a warmer sound but too much and things can get muddy. Getting the right balance of even and odd harmonics is one of the keys to achieving “edge of breakup” tones.”

Stealth blue sounds so much better now, way closer to the 50watt stealth i previously owned. With the prior version it had significant high end noise and sounded like it had a baked in Precision Drive. Love having a product that stays as fresh, keep up the great work Cliff and team!.
