Axe-Fx III Cubase setup help

There is no need to do any of that. Simply plug your AxeFX into one USB port and your midi keyboard into another USB port. MIDI and audio devices are treated separately in Cubase.

Thank you for the reply, Unfortunately my keyboard does not have USB, so in my situation I have to do it that way. Otherwise, yes the way you suggested is much easier and more convenient.

You’re making things way too complicated . Just replace your midi cable with any cable like this one:

Hi all,

I have an issue where my axefx and cubase start and work together…but if I leave for 10 mins or so I don’t get any audio. Odd because the cubase metres still up and down, axefx still a device but just nada

For context I have the axefx3 updated, cubase 12 (and same issues with 11) and a mac with the latest IOS.

Love any help

(Sorry I should say…I have tried the usual studio setup reset functions. But usually requires a full reset of Mac to get working again)
