You can just wait though, because it's a beta meaning it's a test and it's not released officially yet. I really wouldn't worry about it.

Make two identical presets: one with Modelling (in the preamp block, not the Global modeling parameter) set to 3.x, one one set to Latest. Crank up the volume so you can hear and feel the difference. Then switch back and forth between the two. It's not a huge difference, but it's a real difference.

I´ve done this - I thought the 4.0 beta sounded a bit clearer ? but not really shure..........

ahh ok. difficult to tell via text online sometimes. i just don't want new users and forum members think that buying an Axe-Fx is necessary to get the latest firmware due to missing a joke!
