i think this is expected behavior as fractal bot also relies on compute resources to send the file. if resources are limited by multitasking the upload thread will slow down

Note that the Speaker Drive has been restored to the behavior in 21.00 Beta 1 and prior.

I’m curious whether this is because you thought it was actually more “correct” in Beta 1, or just not wanting to change peoples’ presets inadvertently from prior firmwares?

The Fractal stuff that I've bought over the years (all the way from my old beloved Axe Fx Standard), is the only purchase I've ever made that gets consistently better as it ages. The firmware updates from Cliff and Co. bring an unmatched value to Fractal hardware. I can't imagine ever going back.

That's not how it usually works.
Each beta intends to be better than the last, so typically only the last one, or something even further evolved from there, would get released.
