Current Axe-Fx III Firmware Version: 11.01

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  • Mac version requires OS version 10.7 or newer
  • Windows version requires Windows 7 or newer
  • Minimum firmware version 3.02

NEW IN THIS VERSION

* Added mouse-wheel functionality to the CAB block's cabinet number control.

* Added "FC Banks" button to Axe-Manage Presets. When the button is selected, the presets are color coded into virtual banks according to the current FC Controllers Bank Size.

* Modified the "FC Controllers" FUNCTIONS section with a warning that covers the editable switch properties when a Per-Preset Override is assigned to the given switch. This warning can be manually dismissed to resume editing the global switch properties.

* Modified the "FC Controllers" SWITCHES context menu with Copy/Paste/Clear Per-Preset Override.

* Added images to the "LFO Type" parameters in the Controllers, Chorus, Delay, Flanger, Multitap, Phaser, and Tremolo layouts.

* Enhanced the readability of the Sequencer in the Controllers block by dimming steps which fall outside of the number of STAGES and by adding a "Grid Highlight" parameter which highlights the starting location of each Nth step.
 
Thanks for the update, sorry to be that guy - but do you know when the authentic screen will be there for the new AC20 model?

This simple display tweak makes preset management SO much easier while using an FC with preset banks. You're going to love it.

This should solve the problem of people accidentally clobbering their global FC switch assignments trying to edit a per-preset switch.

Taking inspiration from good UI design observed in plugins. Any opportunity for the software to be unobtrusively informative is well taken.

Another very minor display tweak that goes a long way towards ease of use. Turn on grid highlighting when you want to easily identify every Nth step while working with a long sequence. Inspired by the best of XOX pattern programmers.
