Axe-Edit III has been released as a public beta for Mac OS X and Windows.

Axe-Edit III is now in the public beta phase. This lets you try out the pre-release version while you wait for it to be completed. The software has been tested and is found stable enough to be of value to our customers, but as a beta, the application is incomplete and may contain bugs. Some features are missing, while others are limited. It is strongly recommended that you use Fractal-Bot to back up custom presets or system data prior to using this software.

If the Axe III is on the layout screen when Axe Edit is launched, the screen on the hardware flickers really fast, meanwhile Axe Edit says "please wait...communicating". Is this expected?

I should also add that this lasts for just a few seconds...then it looks normal.

Let me start by saying, not complaining! just want to ask, was the import cab feature through cab manage implemented yet? I assume not since I drag IR fils onto the window and it says they are not user cab files.

Click on the browser menu and then choose “show browser”. Drag IR files into the browser pane to convert them to the proper format.
