This is a reported bug, and will be fixed in the next release. (I have already fixed it)

Is there any way to just release an update to fix the midi issue(s) without any of the other updates since they are not ready yet? Just curious.....

the AX8 freezes (screen freezes and no response from any front panel knobs or buttons) then works fine after power cycle and disconnecting the midi cable.

The red flag went up Feb. 24 on the forum and soon after with FAS support.

So pleased to hear this issue is being addressed! It's only happened to me once but it was mid song at a live show

Joe, while we're on the subject, I have also isolated a definite issue I posted in another thread about when using external midi to change presets. It's worth your team testing but I definitely get a much more notably longer audio gap when the change comes from a midi program change as opposed to using the foot switches. This was never the case when I was using an ultra.
