At low volumen sound fine, but not spectacular as the youtube videos, but at high levels in the reharsals with my band, sound quite plastic and with very low definition.. am sure i am do something wrong, but i dont now what

the cab simultation is off, the power amp on and i use only pasive pickups

any idea may help

Thank you in advance!!!!

What amp model are you using? I find the Axe/Matrix/Greenback combo can be a bit harsh in the top end, and you've also got the Fletcher/Munson effect to deal with when going from high to low volume, so here's what I do to tame it.

-Turn the speaker drive and motor drive to 0 in the Spkr Drive tab.

-Insert a filter block after the amp set to a low pass at around 10k. You can also use the hi cut in the preamp tab of the amp block.

-Alternatively, use the global EQ to pull out 16k and some 8k. Pulling a little 250 down can help too

-Be careful not to set the treble or presence too high with certain models.

-Use the depth control and low cut (preamp tab) to fine tune the low end.

I've attached one of my gigging presets to give you an idea of how I'd tackle this problem. Be sure to use output 2 to send to your amp/cab and output 1 to go to the PA.

Save the preset to an empty slot on your AX8 and it will prompt you to save the user cab with it.

The IIC++ is one of my favourite amps but notoriously difficult to dial in. Can you post your preset?
