This was a really satisfying conclusion to things.
Heading out in 15 minutes to see it in IMAX. I figured that's appropriateBetter (a) the second time viewed (b) in IMAX 2d than in standard 3D......the music selections...(traffic! kinks!)
Were transcendent....as was the experience in general, especially if one bought in hard and early to the MCU,
.....and for moi, who honed my earliest reading skills on a nonstop diet of All the main protagonists
marvel releases of the LEE era(I literally owned 1st pressing FF, Hulk, Spidey, Ant-Man, Iron Man, Avengers, Dr. strange, Conan, etc.., bought (or lifted from the newsstand we had at the family hotel business) in they day they were delivered .....starting from their REAL origin stories .....I still get a bit depressed when I think of my blessed grandma tossing out into the trash a collection (while I was at college ) worthtoday who knows how much...............lifelong dream resolved with the flicks.
That means you missed the best decade for superheroes other than the golden age of comics!
Seriously, I loved superhero comics but HATED the big screen versions, save for batman till Marvel came along and showed us all how it's SUPPOSED to be done
I used to hate iron man and captain America as a kid, and they're both two of my top heroes now thanks to the movies
Not interested either. Endless repetitions of explosions and collapsing buildings...
Its not that the Marvel movies are bad, its just that the genre doesn't interest me. I'm from the Netherlands, American superhero comics were never big here when I was a kid. I grew up on French and Belgian comics like Tintin, Asterix the Gaul, Lucky Luke or Valérian. I'll take those any day over people with weird powers and tight brightly colored outfits.

It is clear that what occurs for the next five weeks on this series will have monumental circumstances for the MCU moving forward (and backwards …and …..?). Love It. Feige is a genius.I enjoined Loki Episode 1 last night!
I was delighted with the interrogation on his purpose of life, on a quasi psychoanalytic/philosophical level
(no spoilers)
