? Basic Plexi tone. who will share?
Thanks for the preset @guitarcal. I just started searching the forum and found your preset as a great start.
Hi, I wondered if you have updated your LB preset, I downloaded it and it sounds great so I wondered if you’ve done any more to it. I’m using a Fender strat ultra.Yes, I'll post tonight or tomorrow for you.
I use the 1959 Plexi Jumped, an impulse response I captured from the Pod X3 live, and the parametric eq block to eq match to his tone from his Today is the Day album. This has gotten me extremely close to his core tone. I am just missing his chops...
If your interested, here is a post on how to dial his sound on the pod. A lot of this can be translated to the FM3. https://www.benvesco.com/blog/tones/2008/pod-lincoln-brewster-tone-study/
I am curious, are you running his Dimarzio Area Pickups?

Thanks. I dont think I’ve seen any other attempts to copy LB’s tones from Today is the Day, it was a great tone similar to Stevie Rays and John Mayers.Hi, thank you, I am glad you like it.
I’ll upload the latest version of it here in the next few days. I don’t think I have made many tweaks to it.
I’m a left handed player and I’ve been trying to find a set and a 61 in the bridge.Watching this thread. I'd love to make my Area 58 neck pickup rip like his does.
I have one I’m working on that is a tone match from some of his stems!
Hopefully by Christmas time when everyone is playing MiraculumStoked to hear it!
Hi Jon will be doing the Lincoln tone from his earlier album ‘Today is the Day’? That was a really great toneStoked to hear it!
