Anyone else having "pop" noise when navigating thru presets in 9.0?

When I turn the wheel (don't have foot controller) I'm getting a "pop", low-end, type sound like you get when powering off a stereo, etc. This does this as I navigate thru every preset. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'd like to know the cause of that, as it'll be a show-stopper if there is anything other than the usual drop-out of audio when switching presets.
Please contact support and get to the bottom of this one.

oh no, i haven't played with 9.0 yet, but this problem has plagued me in past firmware. it hasn't happened since 5.x or 6 for me, i'd hate to see it back in 9. i'll hopefully get to play some tomorrow.

I went through a bunch of mine and didn't experience any pops. I have very few stock presets though. did people that experience it have delay spill over on or off. Mine is off.

I imagine it could be to do with the reduced patch switching time.

I just measured the switching time between about 30 of my presets. Patch switching used to be pretty static as far as time. Now it seem to depend on the preset. Some switching times for me are almost no existent <20ms. Most are between 22-30ms, a few are between 50-60ms. I'll keep searching and see if I can recreate the pops.

I just went through my 3 set gig list and with spillover off, I get nothing but maybe a tiny click on a few patch changes. Patch changes here a smoother than ever. I put spillover on and I was getting pops and the weirdness associated from switching from radiaclly different delay/reverb types and settings (that latter to be expected).

I don't know if it's a problem or not. Considering Scenes is out and there shouldn't me much of an issue with this, but the thing is... Is that suppose to happen?

I definitely get that pop on a lot of my presets just went up till 71 and like only 4 presets didn't have that pop/thump while moving through the presets. But all the others did.

Ok I found something interesting. I just tried it on two presets, I changed the amp type and went back to the same amp again which was originally in the preset then did the switching and the pop disappeared. It seemed like we would have to do this process for all the presets so the popping completely stops.

In fact don't even reset on every preset just press the store button and press enter. Then use the wheel to switch between your previous preset to the current preset just to make sure if it still pops. The result should have no more popping/thumping.

I had some presets a couple firmwares back poping when changing ,seemed like it was on patches with different delay types, especially between tape delay patches and other types,if i remember correctly it started when the new tape delay was introduced! I haven't used the tape delay much in a while, and have had no pops! The first bunch of factory presets in bank A use the Tape Delay!

I get the same thing on a couple of my presets. More of a thump than a pop...I know tomato, tomahto, but it is there.

Mine thump. I posted about that on Tues night.. I'll try Immortal's fix later tonight and report back.
