🔥Introducing the new AM4 Amp Modeler

Apologies if this was already addressed in the thread, but beyond being CPU hungry, I’m not sure I get the rationale/choice of not including a pitch block or a SYN block in the AM4?

Those would most often be pre fx (at least if the pitch block is used as a capo or octave..).

So even if I pair the AM4 with my VP4, I would need to put the VP4 in 4CM, which would negate the possibility of using post fx in stereo?

So one would need to dedicate the VP4 as pre (to use the pitch and/or synth block e.g.).. or get separate pedals?

I was just about to hit the ‘buy’ button, but then I took 5’ to try to figure out how I would actually set it up.. and I’m still scratching my head I must admit..

But please, I’m hoping someone proves me stupid and I can grab one for my birthday in a few weeks !!

Thx!
Joce

Stereo out is supported.

IMHO, Stereo IN doesn't make much sense since it's an amp modeler.
Wrong. And that's part of the problem. There's no thought of the market outside of their core market. Not a great way to be sustainable. There are a massive number of people that run stereo pedalboards into stereo amps. Lack of a stereo input and stereo amps/cabs is a huge miss. This is basically an FM3 in a smaller format and only 4 effects blocks. Shockingly stupid product planning. L6 Stomp amp modeling is good enough in a mix and it's $100 cheaper with stereo I/O. You can get two Tonex One's for $300, and their V2 amp capture tech is frighteningly good.

Then don't buy it. To come on here and declare "shocking stupid product planning" is beyond rude.

Shockingly stupid etiquette planning.

It's a single Amp block.

Amps are mono.

How does that even align with what you're saying?

If you like another product then use it.

There's no need to be insulting because the product doesn't fit a niche use case that you want.

I'm saying, something I've said many times before... a stereo I/O, two amp/two cab Fractal pedalboard sized solution, would corner the market with people that still use an analog pedalboard. There's a HUGE market for that, and it continues to be ignored here. Big miss.

Couldn't you just buy two of them??
