Ax8 left/right routing--> 2 different sounds

Hi! New to Axe fx... Would like to know if you can split and hard pan your signal in L and R so you have 2 chains you can edit (with different amps/cabs and fx). In this way you have 2 amps even though There's no 2nd Amp setting on the Ax8. Is this a thing of is it not possible? Thanks!!
