Routing Axe Fx III AES rme TotalMix Fx

I read that I could route the Axe Fx through AES but still record the dry DI from my RME UCX II. During my attempt I have signal but only from the AES output and not the AES input. Any RME users familiar with this?

AES - Axe FX output to RME UFX II not working

I occasionally use my Axe FX 3 for re-amping. This used to work but not today. The clock is synced fine with RME as Master and Axe FX using AES. The Axe FX is receiving AES input and will play to the speaker connected directly to the Axe FX but will not output to RME thru AES. Cable tests fine...

    AES INPUT clipping early?

I'm using the AES input into the AxeIII. At -6dbfs into the AxeIII it begins to clip. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Understanding Clocking

I just want to ask for clarification of a few things regarding clocking. It seems I am forced to use the internal clock on the axe FX with an AES connection. I have my interface set to 48khz internal clock with the Axe on auto and it seems like there is no issue. I can also slave the interface...

Axe FX II to Digital Optical In of Audio Interface

Hello, I have an Axe FX II (Mark II) and an Audient ID14 (https://audient.com/products/audio-interfaces/id14/overview/) interface. I want to use the digital output of the Axe Fx into the optical input of the interface, what are my options for doing this? And is it better to use the SPDIF or the...

Clocking Issues ( Master, Slaves, AES or AUTO)

Hello I am currently using an AXE FX 2 via AES into my Metric Halo ULN-2 interface. I am a bit confused about the proper way to clock both systems. This bit on the support wiki confused me. SPDIF/AES IN: uses the recovered clock for all input sources. A valid 48 kHz data stream must be...

TUNER CALIBRATION DOESN'T WORK WHEN USING AES CLOCK

I just noticed the tuner calibration does not work when you use AES 3 into an interface. I have the ULN-2 by metric halo and when I put the axe fx on AES clock , the signal is cleaner, but my tuner calibration doesn't work. When I put the clock back to auto the tuner calibration works ( but the...
