    There are some drives with 0% CPU increase (Integral Pre for example) with high Oversampling and some with 8% CPU (Maxoff 808) increase and some in between (2% with the Shimmer Drive). It probably depends on the complexity of the algorithm.

    No, I haven't. I only use the Wizard “in the room” with a 1x12 cabinet (Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker), so it's not really possible to make a direct comparison. But the second channel definitely has that EL34 Marshall character. And I have not used the Fractal Hook models in a looong time...

    I have a device that takes the drummer's click and converts it into a MIDI clock signal that goes directly into my Axe-FX. As far as I can see, the click and the tempo LED match. Maybe I just can't tell a difference of 1/24 of a beat! :smiley:

    I've been using this configuration for "ages". In the output block you pan the rows hard left and right This way, you have a signal with cab on the left output and a signal without cab on the right. And you save a cab slot for the flat IR and thus CPU.
