Troubleshooting new unit without output

I ended up reinstalling the latest firmware, resetting the factory settings and it's working properly now. My bad.

Troubleshooting new unit without output

I've just received my axe-fx 3. It looks like it only output some white noise, and nothing else. I see the output leds level properly lighting up. I"ve tried both output 1 to my monitors, and the headphone output. I also tried the synth block without tracking. Any idea what I could try next?

Is there a place to discuss general effects information?

I think most users prefer some effects to others, and having divided forums for each effects would definitely help to focus efforts in one place. Great idea.

Vote for AMP-NEUTRAL (or: EFFECTS ONLY) patches please

How about two grids, one with amps for example, and the seconds with effects. The two grids could respond to 2 different midi channels. That would mimic operation of an actual midi amp + midi effects.

Sound clips, or at least description of what you think is missing would help us to help you. Dpoirier is right, depending on your setup, the way you play, the context (recording, live), you may have a really different sound with the same patch. As an example, I dialed in a patch that sounds...

Model of the Mesa Boogie Mark series on-board graphic eq

The point for me is to use a Mark as a global amp, without needing to re-dial a PEQ for each patch using the global amp. Somebody in the same situation?

The reason I would like to have the EQ with the mark series model is to be able to use a mark-style global amp without redialing the EQ for each preset. Global EQ could be an alternative to me as well, but the fact of using only one global block is really interesting. That global EQ possibilty...
