In effetti ci sto pensando da tempo. In passato ho provato con 2 QSC da 800 watt, ma non riuscivo ad avere la famosa "botta" nonostante fossero potentissime. Adesso le usiamo come PA con dei SW. Probabilmente colpa mia che non sapevo sfruttarle e della macchina, allora un Ultra

Ciao Marco, in pratica, nel preset allegato, la scena 1 usa la IR acustica (l'Amp è in mute) che va sia all'out1 che al 2 mentre la seconda usa l'Amp ( mentre il M-Comp è in mute) e manda la Cab solo all'out2. Questa è la soluzione che ho trovato io. C'è qualcosa di più pratico secondo te?

I was on the same idea, when it showed out to be a ground problem for sure I swapped four different cables and five guitars to be sure that the problem was in another point, but never thought to an internal bad ground. Cliff jumped in and said "you have a bad ground inside the unit" so swapped...

But.......... Why have TM amps pack in AXE FX? You already own a couple of tons of modeled amps right there! For sure you will need to re-tweak the TM amps to your system so why don't start from amp directly? P.S. Scott has better explained what I was meaning

Same here. With USB connected and AXE EDIT on there is a very noticeably delay. Without AXE EDIT the switch time is the same as in the past. Probably the problem is in the "parameter polling" in AXE Edit which I have set on. Angelo

This is the same identical thread we have had when AXE came the first time from USA to G66. Boring!! There are Import fees, transport, AND margin. If I try to import from US I will find: € 1538,57 +20% IVA + about € 50 customs and duties +€ 100 transport= €2000 so...... You have to understand...

The MCF 01 is great, but..

Hi, I'm not really color-blind but I'm always getting confused when it comes to a choice between red and green, no matter what kind of controller I've tried till the MFC. Now I've to say that I can be sure wether an effect is on or off at the first glance. Otherwise the only possibility I see...

Already had some gigs since middle 2008 when I got AXE FX, I've used in the beginning a pair of QSC and audience comments were " not bad, but cold sounding" then I switched to my old Line6 Vetta plugging the AXE in the spdif in and using the Vetta only as a PA: tone was warmer and punchier...

Behringer FCV100 - really struggling to get this setup

I own a couple of these pedals and they work fine with my AXE The process you've explained in your first post is 100% correct except for the cable, you need a TRS cable in the Outpu2. They are plugged into the back of an AllAccess floorboard in CV mode and even didn't need any calibration A TRS...

What's the best expression pedal for the axe?

Finleysound, I don't know at this moment, it's only a couple of weeks that i own the pedal. By the way you have to think that using the pedal as expression with the "output 2" only plugged, the battery is only to lit up the led emitter of the optical unit, so the power consumption is ridiculous...

It is a matter of tastes, but I prefer lug one way 75 than two way 60! Then I've never had to lift it by myself alone also. Anyway , IMHO, Vetta in stereo is better than two QSCs side by side, no matter what eq I apply (again maybe it's my poor ability with eq) I have tried in stereo and mono...

ALESIS F2

After some bad experiences with various expression pedals, I've found that the Alesis F2 is the solution for me except..... It works very good as volume controller and for many of the rest of parameters, then I've tested it as wha and whammy controller and it works really ok too when sweeping...

Poll - please vote !!

Gone with a pair of QSCs for 4 months, then discovered the possibility to run my old Vetta as poweramp+cab: QSCs are now the main PA for little venues! Vetta is warmer and fuller sounding for me. Angelo

Thanks guys, As said, the modifiers tip is not an idea of mine, but it really shows what the Axe can do if you dig it deeply. I'm also tweakin' a patch where the wha is controlled both by pitch and envelope: dunno if it will works but I'm giving it a try (I have a very lazy foot!) Angelo
