    One thing that always freaks me out is the worry that I'm upsetting the order for packs that I buy, like Austin Buddy. My solution has been to put the non-AB IRs in the higher slots so they're as far away from the other IRs as possible.

    FWIW, you can revert back. Technically, each new OS is considered a "purchase" and can be found in your purchased items in the App Store.

    I don't know, I think I'd use the switch. I always thought pulling the plug was worse if there was a switch available because the switch was helping to minimize electrical spikes.

    I love my AX8 and have seriously considered an Axe III. The thing that stops me is I still have plenty to learn about the AX8. There's a lot in that box. And I like the fact that I don't need a bunch of stuff to get going. Plug it in and go. The only thing that's missing for me is a headphone jack.

    So you're going out of the AX8 like you would for any amp, but instead of plugging into the traditional "Input", you're plugging into the "Power Amp In" on the HRD, correct?

    If you don't hit <STORE> <ENTER> <ENTER> doesn't it just revert back if you turn the unit off and then back on? I made a couple of mistakes moving the footswitch presets and I just turned it off to revert.

    So using the OP's scenario, you would create the FX effects loop block and then plug in from Output 2. You wouldn't just remove the cab block?

    Take it from me, if you can upgrade past Yosemite, do it. You're at the tail end of what Apple will support now and it's starting to turn into no man's land getting tech support. My business has all Apple products and I'm on day 3 of trying to get one of my computers back from the dead.
