If I load an axechange hot patch which volume theoretically do I lower so as not to affect the intended sound by the Axexchange patcher there are more than one volume control as I recall from memory.

I did not know that, but how do you set the out signal? Some of the hot downloaded patches from Axechange were too hot and went into the red when I plugged the guitar in.

You are right again Rex some of the settings in the patches have loads of blocks that I did not put there that can be adjusted in 2 through 8 and the sound is extremely altered in scenes 2 through 8 in a number of them. I left that alone in scenes 2 through 8 because bypassing some of them...

I think that the way that the previous owner or AXE-FX ll was set up that some of the earlier numbered presets had the same effects boxes across the screen for 2-through 8 that different from the first scene. Others had all 8 scenes with the same patch sounds like you said, or slightly altered...

I fixed it in the Axe-Edit I just copied it to all other scenes and it worked problem solved What you just said I did on my own. Now I have to do that to all of the presets. You are right on! you really know your stuff!

Am I supposed to change a setting so that the preexisting axe exchange patch loads to all 8 scenes? For me the original patch is not in all 8 scenes but in scene one There is something wrong because my patches only went to scene1 when I dragged then from the computer

What I am trying to do is take a preexisting preset and enter it into the other 2 through 8 quick control settings below knob A for each of the presets that I want to recopy and I don't see that in the manual

When I said edit patch I meant take the whole patch as is and put it in 2 through 8 leaving scene1 for the original patch.

Is there a way to drag and drop a patch to different places in the AXE- FX-ll

I read the manual and it is a bit confusing for what I would like to do. If I want to work with the same exact sound patch in various back up places how difficult would it be to copy the patch that I want to put in multiple places so that I can tweak it's parameters in the future? I don't...

I am about 70 miles away. I pretty much figured out a lot about the AXE- FX ll I just need to take the patches and be able to store them somewhere else once I learn how to tweak them. That is probably the hardest part.

I did not know they are called scenes but now that I know I will refer to that section to try to find it. Come to think of it the 7 scenes are able to be changed for each numbered preset in the AXE-FX I want to figure out how to fill the other 7 scenes with dripping hot effects for each preset...

I went to either the AXE-FX ll itself or the AXE-EDIT and tried to get into the delay setting to add it into the mix. Changed the parameters but no sound change. I also was not able to copy the settings from to 2 through 8 in the AXE-EDIT so that I could play with them. Stuck with a new patch...

I acquired some Fractal patches into my axe-edit but I can't add reverb or delay to them or save them in other places what am I doing wrong? I tried to add reverb or delay and change the parameters only the amp volume was able to be lowered. I actually got Led Zeppelin feedback in one patch...

Great advice about reading. Someone just sent me an easy start up guide but I lost the forum page for 10 minutes I wanted to download the Download Axe edit feature because I came across some patches that I want to hear in the FX ll my computer windows media player does not play these patch files

I installed the USB driver yesterday. Yesterday I successfully downloaded the v9.04 after trying for two day to get the v9.03 I switched the USB cable and loaded a January 2018 bot and the v9.04 loaded almost automatically.
