    FAS Inspired Amp Purchase

Thatnks @Adman103 ! And yes, I did pick up that combo off the verb actually! Had some back and fourth with the shop owner and ended up getting a solid deal on it. Thanks for the suggestions. Axe-FX III vs. Axe-FX II XL+

As someone who owns both, they both sound good, and I still play the II a lot.. The differences between the new and 2nd gen units were not very apparent, but its very obvious now that the current units are superior in just about every way. However, I'd still grab my II over any other competing...

    Houston area music scene?

I live in a Pearland suburb and highly recommend it. My girlfriend lives in League City and its also a very nice area. We have thankfully never had issues with flooding, but as mentioned, it is a thing. Traffic is also brutal. Regarding the music scene, it definitely exists and while I'm not...

I've used the L6 stuff going back to the black HD bean before getting my first AxeFx and it was actually pretty damn good. Part of me actually misses having that unit around. I accidentally got the best sound I've ever gotten out of an old Axe Fx

This wasn’t planned, and it’s definitely not practical — it just sort of happened. I cobbled together a Frankenstein living-room setup: a pair of Kali studio monitors, a KRK sub, a decent DAC, and a phono stage. Nothing exotic. It started as a simple vinyl rig, but once I added an Audio...

    Ace Frehley has passed away.

I wish I could have jumped into Eddie stuff in particular, but 10-11 year old me who couldn't properly tune a guitar or change strings could only handle KISS stuff. It also helped that Destroyer was and still is an absolute banger of an album.

    Ace Frehley has passed away.

I'm not sure that I would be playing guitar today if it wasn't for Ace and KISS. I learned quite a few licks and solos off Destroyer by ear when I was first teaching myself how to play and that inspired me to keep going. RIP Ace.

I'll probably grab their headphone spark neo for my birthday in October since I can see myself practicing a whole lot more with them vs going to my studio and firing everything up. Is FM3 worth for home use when there are plugins that are easier to use?

Is FM3 worth for home use when there are plugins that are easier to use?
