    All strings look loose, screws out of nut. I think maybe the neck is not screwed on, just setting there( I would hope). Tuning keys seem to be all different angles also. Looks like a real pos.

    They may be relics, but they still perform. That's why I still have the ones I have. I only just got rid of my ultra a couple years ago. On another note, I know several who have paid extra to have new items relict, so if the price is good it should be a win win.

    Along with the FM-3, I still have an AX-8, axe fx 11😉, axe fx11 XL😉, unit, but I only use the bottom row of switches, so the fm-3 works great for me. I am not sure sure why you say the FM-3 foot switches are "crappy" just because you wish it had more switches.

    Did you expect more switches that did less when you brought it? I expected 3 switches when I bought mine, and was very excited when I learned what all they could do.

    A pa can be stereo, and does not have to be loud. I use pa with a mixer for my practice room, and monitor my recordings through it also.

    If y'all can't afford new strings when experimenting with parts, don't cut them. Leave the tails flying so you have enough length to get them back in the tuning pegs.

    What's your time worth. Strings are not that expensive, and if you play much they get changed often anyway. New strings and don't worry about it.

    I do not have an fm9 but No rules, except if you like the sound, it sounds good! I have used fm3 as a pedal board, but I also like to clean the real amp up and use the amp modeling in the fm3.

    I love my electric smoker, never have cleaned it, just turn it full on for an hour and it burns off all the grease and funk. Scrubbing a smoker is like cleaning the coffee pot, you loose all that experienced flavor.☺️

    AX-8 is now vintage. Vintage tone is where it's at. Seriously the AX-8 is a good piece of kit, the one I have still does more then it did when I bought it (fractal and there updates).

    Does your piano have midi? What are you trying to control while recording? I had in the past used a midi uno to connect an fcb to my laptop to control things in studio one. But I think this could be done through the axe fx as an interface. Not sure though of the programing of eureka chip...

    I sweep the parametric EQ, and normally take out a narrow swath at around 3,500 and 5,000. A really fast slap back delay with 1 repeat can also faten things up. I have never had much love for the enhancer live. The pitch detune can help, like a mild chorus.

    Maybe a term spring came loose while changing strings. I would think though if this happened you would see a difference in bridge angle when strings are tuned to pitch.

    I my self have not seen a pedal like you are looking that does not require a battery, also will need double trs, unless it's midi, or you change the function with some thing other then the expression pedal itself. I have an sp1 and an sp2 they both work well. I have not had a need for an led.

    unless you buy a case with heat and air, it will still equalize to the outside temperature. unless the temperature changes rapidly you would not gain any benefit.
