AxeFX Ultra FCB1010 Wah controller

Hi everyone

I'm recently passed to the digital using an AxeFX Ultra and I have to say that even if it's a bit tricky to set up it can still bring joy in 2024 :D
I'm using it with an FCB1010 and I would like to use one of the pedals as a continuos control change for the wah effect (plus turning it on and off automatically...)
I post this video that I've found on youtube explaining how to do it in the 3rd version and it's totally different from the model that I have.
Could someone heere help me to solve this quest?
Thanks a lot!

What you want to do, is have the pedal(s) ...send a MIDI CC (continuous controller value) to the AXE-FX Ultra External Controller.
Then route that External Controller to the Control value of the wah.

It takes a bit to understand the abstraction. But The FCB-1010 and Ultra are a very capable pair in a killer guitar rig. You'll have to do some digging.

My buddy guitarist still uses his FCB1010 with the AxeFxII. By today's standards, it's pretty difficult to program to take advantage of all of the capabilities. The good news is that it the owner's manual is accurate but hard to follow, and a solid knowledge of MIDI specification is required. Patience and persistence is the key. I personally stopped using the FCB1010 almost 10 years ago. Using the FM9 Turbo now...a night and day difference.

I've just did it guys! :) What was stopoping me was the modifiers, I didn't find a way to assign that controller to that action. I've understood also that I needed to dial in the same value in the FCB1010 controller (to match the wah bypass in the AxeFX) to make it turn on/off when then value reaches the lower level, in this way I was able to assign the wah effect to the patch (is importand to add it to the chain already bypassed, so it won't affect the tone) and when I step on the controller it turns on automatically :) and since I added the "Wah Bypass" matching the same channel on the FCB1010 it turns on/off automatically when I reach the heel position.
Thanks for the suggestions anyway, I really appreciated it
