Taylor Next Gen Neck adjustment?

Checked it out on my phone. The pics look ok to me. I like Taylor’s and own a 714ce with the OG V class bracing and the now outdated electronics. I don’t play it enough and my son’s Martin sounds better. Can’t recall the model # of that one.

@skolacki
Thanks-Did the Taylor play better? That's what I keep reading. Like I said, I don't have one near me I can play............

It plays good yes. Better than the Martin? They both play good to me in my limited experience. I actually brought the Taylor out tonight. Our singer guitar player had his 65th birthday party and we played an acoustic set. Lot of fun and good to give my guitar some respect. I think they’re both quality builders. It’s more about that tone the Martins get. Taylor’s have their own sound too. More modern sounding in a way. The Martin’s have that sweet honky midrange to my ears. Try them in person if you can. I was able to play a good number of Taylor’s and they all had their own thing going on. I played Martin’s too. When I found my guitar I hit the first few chords and knew that was it.

I recently picked up a next gen 324CE after selling a Gibson Custom Hummingbird, and I absolutely love the Taylor.

The neck adjustment literally just looks like a bolt with a nut on the end of it. You’d probably need a long hex driver to adjust it. View attachment 166880Nice guitar. I have the special attachment for moving the neck adjustmant.
Nice guitar.... Yeah that bolt t raises it straight.
Martins sound better acoustically and Taylors are a bit easier to play (which I like) due to the neck shape and radius. Not sure about which pickup system is best but I record acoustics with a mic and I blend in the LR Baggs transducer and internal mic. I am anxious to see how the Taylor sounds on my system. I I'll have one tomorrow!
But I'll never part with my Martin OM28e................

Yeah I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of Taylor’s in the past but hearing this one changed my mind. I think it’s got a lot to do with the scalloped V bracing and the hardwood mahogany top. Even the demos of the next gen acoustics, I think the 324 sounded the best out of a lot them. Not discounting the spruce tops at all, but it’s just what I want out of an acoustic.
