    I hear you! Progress comes down to available resources. If firmware 3.0 includes as many modifications as many of us expect, the manual update could be further delayed. For now, this forum and the wiki page are good alternatives.

    If you’re following the instructions in the manual, they’re wrong. For sticky scenes: (1) Select setup (2) press footswitch #1 for global (3) navigate to “scene select” and (4) use the value knob to change the setting to “sticky.”

    Thanks! I just submitted a ticket, along with a link to this thread. I also noted that the manual instructions are incorrect and confusing so I might be simply programming the unit wrong. However, it could be a firmware bug since others are experiencing the same problem.

    Agreed. FAS drive effects have tons of headroom. My experience is that 25% of overdrive on FAS's version of the Tube Screamer equals 50% of the actual pedal. I rely on the mix to temper it and sweeten the tone. BTW, I play through the clean channel.

    You're correct that the FX-8 has many more options and thus, virtual knobs with respect to tweaking a block and it can seem overwhelming. However, for the most part, you can choose to simplify the process by limiting your tweaking to page one of the LCD, which most resembles the POD’s parameters.
