Recommendations for Brad Paisley cab tones

Ive recorded Brad several times, he prefers the gold than the blue, but does like a small percentage of that in too. - You may want to reduce the gold flubb though at 200K just how he likes it with a good tele. Prefers FET mics, but a good R121 will do too. as long as its not close in proximity...

ProTools HD System here. - Its the only DAW i'll use for tracking/Mixing. - If I'm doing anything complex/arrangements then I'll use Cubase as it has a better Midi system. For the record, all DAWS are the same in terms of sound, its simply what you like as a interface. they all do the same...

Yup. - Lets say, you like a Preset that has Blues in it.. but you wanted a more "Sparkly Sound", so you can then mix your own Sparkly sound using the Blue IR's that are provided (Plat), then you can use the same info as per the chart for a more or less complete experience. - its gets more...

<wakes up> Each Preset is tuned the speaker, so that's the Amp Paired/Married to that speaker choice. - the "Speaker" tab is edited to reflect this, and this sets the variables of the amp to match that speaker. (this is with EVERY Preset) - The CAB block was not changed much.. all I did on here...

@Savage1969, actually most of the cabs for the presets are all different mixes in one form or another. -some share the same IR's as I did a variation of that preset, i.e a rhythm sound, and lead sound. to showcase versatility..and the reason for doing 15 or so Presets per speaker was to showcase...

Hi Luccio.. when you have pressed Import, and loaded the preset, if you want to save that.. simply press save.. it will ask you a position of the PRESET, and then where you want to save the IR cab too.. select a position that suits you and your good to go..

Hi Savage. Well its impossible for me to say or suggest if the gain will be fine for you. - I did the presets with a variety of guitars that were better suited for the amps in question, I.E I Used Lespauls for the "rock amps" - EMG Equip guitars for the Metal amps, Strats/teles for the Blues...

Yes and no. - Paring the right amp with the speaker is quite involved. you cant just read the spec sheet of a speaker and clone that info, it simply wont work like that, we had to do a lot of graphing of the AMP + Cab then marry the two together to come up with the relative figures and Q graphs...

Regarding the samples page Yes these are just the Presets (The new IR's are part of that preset) You can save the Preset locally (and the new IR to a spare slot) and use that IR with another preset/amp. likewise you can load in any other IR to the preset. however by doing this you will break the...

Ok. Im putting this out early, before I jump in massively. Because I have over 450 Patches, that's too much for me to record clips for. - so instead.. I recorded a whole load of clips, in many styles so I can just load a preset, reamp, save. easy!. .....not so easy!. - I don't ever reamp...

Yeah that's cool, sound design is important, well luckily for you.. Im doing this different to most of my other stuff, Im splitting up the Pack into various ones, so you can buy Just the IRs separately, so that will suit a lot of people who like to do their own thing : )
