    Yes the output is set to stereo but the input was set to "left only" and I set it to stereo. I have the manual downloaded and I do read through it but I couldn't really find my answer in this case. How am I supposed to set up the signal chains to have them act as I am needing with two cabs :S

    The playing isn't my worry, I can play the solo fine, the harmony also isnt a worry. Just getting that tone, it seems to cut so well while maintaining a place in the mix and not being over bearing. And yes tom, Battle Beast is incredible!

    Semi new still to the Ultra and I have been working to try and copy a tone but so far no luck. I was wondering if anyone could either build this tone for me or perhaps give me a good solid lead on how to go abouts doing so. The lead tone starting at 2:16 is what I am after.

    I had it in parallel mode, my cab doesnt have a switch, just has two inputs, nothing written on the inputs so I assumed it'd be fine. It's ok, I am just going to run it in bridged and one input. I was running it for a week or so through my 2x12 but the 2x12 has all the inputs marked clearly...

    Took off the lid, found a fuse. Ill replace it tomorrow. Question though. For a 16ohm cab, can I only run it in mono bridged? I looked all over the unit and didnt see anything about ohmage :S

    K so, I used my power amp at home in mono bridged through my 2x12, it was fine, then tonight I went to jam and put it stereo through a 16 ohm cab, immediately it went into protection mode and shut off. Understandable, I made a mistake so I know why it shut off but it wouldn't turn back on...

    I decided to stay with my VST software for recording, I can dial in anything I want and it all stays true. I think I am just going to use this axefx rig until I order a Rhodes and then off it goes, that or Ill buy the II depending on how the next few months with the ultra go.

    I find that high gain needs to have more treble than I am used to using on a regular amp. I added a graphic EQ and discarded the OD boosts I was running. I was told there was a way to record with the ultra and then change tones after like you can with VST software. Not sure if that's possible...

    I plugged into the inputs, I also then put it into the matrix power amp and into my cab while bypassing the internal cabs and it's just not good, sounds messy and noisey. I can't get anything to sound crisp and focused at all.

    Im just not happy with the high gain tones. I thought this unit was ideal for high gain tones and after downloading a ton of presets and tweaking them, then going from templates I have yet to find a single usable high gain tone for recording or live. I guess I am just not a tweaker. Not sure...
