Ordering New Cables, Quick Question, Cable Length.

From my Axe FX to right monitor I need four feet of interconnect cable. I only need two feet for the left monitor. Should I get two four feet cables or does it matter? I read somewhere it matters, but who knows?

I take many breaks; should I leave the equipment on?

I often practice eight to ten hour days, with breaks from fifteen minutes to an hour all throughout the day. Is it less wear and tear to leave the equipment on or turn it off with every (long) break?

How long does it take you to warm up?

Everybody is different and I am curious. I am not worth a shit for at least 30 minutes. Hand sychronization is off, fingers sluggish, and it's as if I just picked up the guitar for the very first time. Well, nowhere near that bad, yet you get the picture. Sometimes it takes an hour or more. Some...

Recent experience with Suhr's customer service.

Earlier this year I purchased a root beer drip Suhr Modern through Humbucker Music. It had a minor issue that needed to be fixed (high 5th fret). I contacted Humbucker Music, told them I want to keep the guitar but that it needs some attention. Within an hour Humbucker had contacted Suhr and I...

Describe some of your odd solutions to your guitar technique issues.

Did you play with your fretting fingers close to a wall? Did you tie dental floss around your fingers then staple the floss to the fretboard(lol)? Describe some odd things you have come up with to help you get over a specific technique flaw. The odder the better! :encouragement:

What do you think of Vivian Campbell's playing.

I'm curious. I have been working on a couple songs of his (Holy Diver & We Rock). I especially love the lead in Holy Diver. I have all the parts down I just have to get it up to speed, and I am still tweaking the tone. Anyway, just a general curiosity of mine. There are no wrong answers.
