    It is a persistent problem. Same with windows. Many users experience this. No workaround, just restart the axe. Since it doesn’t happen often it’s no biggie, but annoying nonetheless.

    If you think this is bad, I have an fm3…. I regret buying it. Too underpowered. Especially non turbo. I have it in a case and bring it to gigs as a backup for my fm9. (Turbo). The fm9T is perfect right now. I can keep my axe 3 at home so it all became extremely portable.

    I have an fm3 for rehearsals and backup. I really miss horsepower. Also, I found out that I use dual amps more often as I thought. I also noticed that getting hold of a used FM3 is easy, a used fm9 nearly impossible. That says something too.

    Volume pedal ev5 with a minimum dial on the side. Adjustable on the fly on stage. Toe up is my volume, toe down fo solo. Also nice to have this control at your feet when you find yourself hard to hear because a bandmember becomes louder or you find a preset or scene to be too soft.

    I’ve been playing guitar and gigging for 30 years. Never once had anything happen to my pedalboard or any gear for that matter. I did always use a pedalboard and a hard case for transport, but that is it. I understand the ‘better safe than sorry’. So to each his own.

    Funny how the wish of some ppl can be such a surprise to others. I could never have imagined ppl not wanting to mute all outputs when tuning. At those times I am grateful just being a user and not the developer. Imagine having to anticipate to so many different needs and preferences.

    David, thank you. This was the issue. I went back to the store. After some persuasion they opened my guitar up and saw that inside was amateurville. Terrible soldering and the grounding was insufficient. They are going to fix it. Kind regards, Harm

    No contact. Bought it used from a store. I’m going back to make them shield the pickups and change the wiring. I want the push pull pot to add the bridge pup to the neck to beef that up when I want it to. Maybe even a blend knob. See what they can do.

    It is the standard 5 way strat toggle and the push pull adds the middle pup. Pointless, it seems, but maybe I am missing something. Maybe it is a series/parallel thing. In any case soundwise I do not hear a benefit.

    This has been a known and longtime issue. I have the same issue. Turn on my desklight and the connection goes. Has nothing to do with your wiring or anything on your end.
