Wish 2 Plexi Delays pls

I am in love with the sound of the plex delay. I have the axe 3 and absolutely love it. Then I bought the fm3 as a backup and for rehearsals. I found it way too limited for what I want from it. Now I bought the fm9 turbo. Awesome. I am in heaven again. All my axe 3 presets work fine, I just have to toss some things out sometimes, no biggie. I have an awesome preset where I have a fantastic plex delay and use an expression pedal to mix some shimmer in and out. I had many compliments about that when playing gigs. Ppl writing down my gear and taking pictures. Now I found out that there’s only one plexi possible on the fm9. I would be extremely grateful if that would be made possible.

Here's how to fish…

The Wiki is full of tips and wisdom collected from the forum and elsewhere, much of it from Cliff. I highly recommend becoming familiar with it. The Reverb block page has a section that, when searched, immediately pulls up the Pitch shift section. A more shotgun approach is to search the entire Wiki for "shimmer".

A good alternate is to search the Audio Blocks Guide for "shimmer", which will pull up multiple block types that implement "shimmer".

Something that can be hit or miss is to search one of the engines for "shimmer reverb" and see what shows up, one of which is from Sound on Sound which has a good article on how to do it yourself.

Back to the Wiki, searching the Factory presets page for "shimmer" will have hits on the "Celestial Reverbs" and "Heavenly Echo" presets. Poke around in the blocks, try changing parameters in the post-effects and see what happens. There are more presets that have "shimmer" in their description.
