lights flashing and switches not working (intermittently)

Hey guys. Wondering if anyone else is having issues like this.... A few times a week the AX8 will just start flashing lights (scene lights, X/Y lights...) and then it goes in to a state of one of the switches not working...sometimes it's switch 6, sometimes it's switch 7, 1, etc. it's never...

ax8 edit sync and load issues

silver handle came loose...very loose. help?

Ax8 with guitar power amp and cab - any experience?

i use mine with the Mission Gemini 2 stereo powered cab. it destroys!! Works great for low volume and high volume consistency in tone.

Custom Cabling-Where do you get yours from?

I've had Tour Supply in Nashville make some custom cable looms for different tours. They do a great job but aren't necessarily cheap...I think I paid around $200 for a 30' loom with power, 2 1/4" cables, and an ethercon

2 reverbs

i get big lush verbs using a plex delay into a reverb that's all parallel, I turn those on by turning on the mult-delay, and mute fx in if it's off...so that way if the but at the very end of the chain i want a reverb that gives my my "in the room" sound...or couldn't we used to be able to get...

2 reverbs

I like to use one reverb to get a little bit of an in the room sound, and a second reverb for big lush verb effect sounds....I'd like to have 2 lush verb sound possibilities, so one reverb with x/y isn't quite doing it for me right now.

Question for the Strymon Guys

I use a BigSky and love it. People mostly like the Bigsky for the Bloom and Cloud reverbs...The AxeFX stuff is incredible, but just cannot do the bloom or cloud effects like the Bigsky can...it takes about 3-4 effects on the AxeFX to get close, which is then hard to set up for a foot controller...

AxeFX and AX8 used for Prince sounding tones!

I put together a new single and used the AxeFX2 for clean tones and the AX8 for the drive tones...just out of a fun experiment...i hope you dig it!

I use a QSC K8...the vox thing is just a cool looking facade. the K8 is cool but a little heavy on the low end (60hz ish)...but it's really just for a little bit of stage volume, we run in-ears for our monitoring, so the amp is just for a little bit of look and feel

yep! burn unit is great. I've just been trying to get the same sound dialed in to the AX8, then i'll just use the drive there. @CodePoet Thanks! yea that's the crystal delay. one of my favorite sounds out of the FAS gear

FX Loop needing to put level way up and before the cab?

Axe Fx Effects Loop with Eventide H9 and Strymon Timeline

I also use some strymon stuff in the FXL. The reverbs in the AF2 are good, but there's no reverbs that sound like the "Bloom" or "Cloud" or octave verbs on the BigSky...I've had to use several effects on the Fractal to get close, but still none of them sound as smooth to me as the BigSky...

I have an MFC 101 mark 1...the switches are pretty loud when i switch them. and the tap tempo kind of sucks for response....is the mark 3 any better?

whenever i add an amp block. it makes front end effects mono...help!

I have some stereo effects i run on the front end from a Line 6 M9, and go into the rear input 1....if i have presets with no amp...the effects sound stereo and everything is great.... as soon as I add an amp, the effects run down the middle!! also...if i put an fx loop in front of an amp...

Using m9 in FXLoop...fx should be stereo, but are sounding mono....

So that is working....here's what I found...The FX Loop is stereo if it's after the amps...right now i'd like the fx loop before the amps...left running to an AC30, right running to a super reverb...can't seem to make this work at all!!

can i have an fx loop within an fx block??

i am looking to have a delay...i want the wet signal of the delay to go up an octave every time it repeats, but i don't want the dry signal to be effected... i currently get this by using an analog delay pedal that has an fx loop on it, and i put a pitch shifter in that fx loop...i want to just...

Axe2 Super Reverb amp in action, live in studio

tvegas99...drive at 2. bass 5.0 mid 4.4 treble 5.0 bright switch on. through the 4x12 basketweave g25. i'll occasionally use an ac30 mixed in about 20% to add a little bite to the tone, but overall i keep it a little dark. it also helps that i roll back the tone knob on the guitar a bit. hope...

scintillating patch trouble syncing. when does the pattern start?

I've been using the "Scintillating" patch on axe 2 and am sometimes having trouble with the effect's pattern starting on different sides of the beat.....it's a beat synced effect and I'm playing with a click, sometimes the pattern will start on the and and it feels like an off beat groove...

Fly Rigs

I've typically ask for the venue to provide a power conditioner for clean power and a k10 or k12 provided at the venue for personal monitoring.... use a 2 space rack for the axe, and pack the mfc inbetween my clothes in a small rolling luggage bag that i check....so i cram the 2space rack under...
