Thanks guys. I’m not at my axe at the moment. It’s actually the Tom Hamilton Aerosmith bass preset from last Christmas they gave out as gifts of tone. I literally just changed output block at the end to output 2.

I used a Friedman HBE stock settings with mix one of the 5153 cab and mix 1 of the black back pack this weekend. It was the ballsiest in your face Marshall type tone I’ve ever had in my Axe.

Only had about an hour with it last night, but holy shit balls. Definitely noticed improved dynamics and thump. The AC20 I noticed the input trim and input sounds fantastic all through the range where before I didn’t like the gain cranked on it.

Look up the free ones Fractal shared over a year ago. It was a Harry Joyce 4x12 captured at rca studios. I really like the Reslo 1 with Triptik clean and crunchy AC20 tones.

Expression pedal with on/off wah style switch?

So you mean you can use your EV1 as a volume pedal, but still make it switch to a wah? Is it really touchy like that though? I’d be worried about doing a volume swell and accidentally turning the wah on. 😉

Dang it @York Audio. After getting the matchless, I couldn’t decide if I wanted the Mesa or Marshall more. Just got them both and they are awesome. I have a Friedman preset with both cabs on it that’s great. Mesa mix cab even played well blending with other factory cabs.

That’s because 11 introduces the speaker impedance modeling. Does it sound better to you or just different? You can experiment with different curves in the speaker tab of the amp block.

guitartripp had shared a preset with settings somewhere on the forum. I used his preset and settings and that gave me 4 scenes on the bottom row and access to the tuner and tap tempo. I’m sure there’s a way to use the top row, but I can’t switch modes on the Helix. He has the mode button...
